Meet Meagan Tarka, the artist behind this incredible piece.

We wanted to give a massive shout-out to her for letting us use this art piece for our song! This is actually one of 12 art pieces in her exhibit called  “The effects of Trauma & healing on the Heart”. We happened to see her exhibit back in January of 2023 and when we came to this piece called, “The Heart in Tension” we both broke. We’d already been in the process of production with our song “Tensions” and when we saw it, we felt like it was the perfect physical representation of what we were trying to communicate in the lyrics.
